Report on the event “Innovative solutions to support SMEs – develop your business using EU funds”, Olsztyn, 21 March 2024.

On 21 March 2021, Olsztyn hosted the conference “Innovative solutions to support SMEs – develop your business using EU funds”, organised by the Coalition for Polish Innovation. The local government of the Warmińsko-Mazurskie Province partnered in the event. The event was held under the patronage of the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development.

During the conference, attendees had access to information booths from the European Funds Information Centre, operating within the Marshal’s Office, and the Investor and Exporter Service Centre. The main focus of the conference was the promotion of the WAMA EDIH project, which provides comprehensive support to micro, small and medium-sized enterprises in the broad field of digital transformation.

Organisations and companies that contributed to the content of the event included: Warmia and Masuria Regional Development Agency, Polish Agency for Enterprise Development – Olsztyn Office, Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego, Family Business Initiative.

The conference was attended by more than 100 representatives from the Warmia-Masuria SME sector. During the conference, entrepreneurs learned about several key topics, including:

– how the digital revolution and automation can reduce costs while advancing business operations to new levels
– how to align business activities with climate-friendly initiatives
– how to obtain, allocate and account for EU funds available to companies

A key highlight of the event was the panel discussion and face-to-face meetings with experts and entrepreneurs who are implementing innovations within their companies. Nearly a hundred entrepreneurs participated in the conference. The organisers announced further activities to promote the WAMA EDIH project.
